All of my weeding-out still has me wondering why I toss some things, and keep others. Some things really bring back memories of where they were found, or who I was with. Other things I keep just because I might use them for something else someday. I am enjoying remembering and thinking about ways to use some of these things..
Things saved from different times & places, stashed in an old hematology kit.
I can't resist moss. Bits I find in the woods, I relocate into the cracks in our stone walls. I am crazy about lichen too but it doesn't harvest or travel well. (Interesting tidbit about lichen here.)

More snow today and into next week. I love it. Reading after shoveling makes for a perfect winter day. Mr. Fix-it making a big batch of his "world famous lasagne" for all of us today. The old folks love it.
I hope you have a good weekend. Please let me know what you keep (or toss).
p.s. I thought you might like to see what we found in the driveway this week.
